Author's Note: Basketball is challenging because there is always much to learn

The ball is very small and your very tall

Some times you have to take a fall from the basket ball

Swish there is a ball, and now you hear a wish

There is the score 4 to more

Jordan is the king of the orange ringgy thing

Now there is more to score

If you play you now all the names the teams

But now it time to stall.

Football

Author's Note: Football is great because this can make you stay fit

 In football you gotta run a sneak or even a peak

To get that leather laced ball.

If you can sleep to don’t make a peep but just

Not in a QB sneak.

Receivers are great when they pick and so are the throwers

In the line i fell like to die but then i win with a grin.

If you get hit please don't make fit

The you will have to sit

How I Show Patriotism

Author's Note: We should be proud to be Americans and proud of the soldiers that protect our country

Patriotism is described as devoted support and defense of one's country, a national loyalty.

There are many reasons I am proud of my country and many different ways I show pride in my country. We can show our patriotism in our own way or all together.

          It is important to be respectful to the flag because it is a symbol of all our country is. The flag was sewn in 1776. The first flag had 13 stars, that represented the states. The flag is red, white, and blue. At sports events they play the Star Spangled Banner and everyone puts their hand over their heart and looks at the flag, we also do the same thing when we say the pledge of Allegiance

        Every year on the 4th of July I celebrate our freedom by going to a parade and a party where we eat, talk, and play games. Then after that we sit on a boat and watch the fireworks. I have also shown my patriotism by learning about our country. My grandmother has me memorize the Declaration of Independence. I have even gone to Washington D.C. to see the monuments with my aunt. 

       My step-dad was a Marine sergeant and now is a veteran. He had a job on a big ship that went around the world. He has been to Rome, Greece, and even Spain while serving our country. I am proud of what my step-dad did for our freedom. He makes me do push-ups and sit-ups. I have always wanted to be a Marine too, and hope to join after I graduate high school.

I believe that freedom is the ability to do what we want. We still have to obey the law but we have rights that cannot be taken away because of our constitution. There are many countries that don't have the freedom we do. We can choose  where we live, what job we do, if we get married or how many kids we want. I am patriotic to America because of the freedom we have.

 

 Owls have many special features that make them different than any other bird                   

What bird has the best hearing? If you could make your own bird what would you add. Talons or none? What color?

Owls are the best living bird for nocturnal animals. This is a very important thing for the owls. If they weren’t nocturnal there predators would come and kill them.

There predator depend on their location. In the tropical it could be snakes but they are prey to each other. Sometimes the snake will get eaten or the owls get eaten. When Owlets learn to fly, foxes and many ground animals will eat the owlets on the ground.

love the thick feathers and the color. Owls are mostly brown, to camouflage into the dark. There head can turn three quarters the way around.

 Snow owls have white feathers. These beautiful 20 to 28 birds have a life span of 9 and half years to live. The male is all white and the females are white too but on the wings have little black spots on them. The snow owl can hunt in day and at night.

The owl that is widely known around the world is the barn owls. These special little creatures eat mice. They are brown and have white mostly on there face. owls are the best nocturnal bird ever living
