Author's Note:Being a toy has many disadvantages and many great advantages. The authors Emily Jenkins and Paul Zelinsky wrote the book Toys Go Out. This book has many comparisons to the movie Toy Story. Many books have main characters that are boring, but when you read this book they are all funny. This story got my imagination going.
Toys Go Out tells the readers that No matter how smart you are you have to be thinking and be ready. Authors Emily Jenkins and Paul Zelinsky tells young and older readers, it doesn’t matter how smart you are along as you use that in the right way.
There is a fun loving 6 year old girl that always takes her favorite stuffed animal to bed. Lumphy, the buffalo, and many other fellow stuffed animals get into problems that they need help getting out of. Just like in real life we get into problems we need helping getting out of. like parents help out there kids and sometimes other kids too. In the book one of the main characters gets stuck in a shoe but then he gets help getting out. A lot of adventures happen in this book.
Do you like going to the beach? Going to the beach can be a really fun, but as a toy there is a lot to think about like being stolen of broken. In the book one of the toys go to the beach. Plastic was her name. She was thrown in to the ocean and started to drift off. A dog came and grabbed her. As she was told it was a dogshark, but was just an type of dog. Dogshark came into the attack as if the ball was a predator. The ball pops and had just enough air to get to the family and get fixed. These toys always have a problem they have to fix.
Lumphy, the buffalo, has a big problem to get around. When he slept on the big bed, he realizes that he doesn’t like it up there. A red ribbon was tied to his tail. Just as he jump the tail got stuck and came off. Lumphy was startled when it was off then realized that he is a strong buffalo.
Main characters of books are mostly boring but when you read Toys go out you will surly like each character. Also the authors that wrote the book tells young and old readers that we can be very smart but us that in a bad way. Like as an adult we always have to be thinking a head and watching for the bad drivers.
