A Clean Place

Author's Note: I wrote a piece that compared a story and a video. The book was A Clean Well-lighted Place.

The book Well Lighted Café has a very hard impact to my life. Like the old man when I’m depressed I like to sit near people that I know, but further away than sitting next to them. The old man drinks until he gets drunk.

The movie set a different tone, and mood that makes the story interesting. The beginning music sounded as if it was another boring day for the old man, sitting down drinking brandy. Near the end of the video the music makes you seem sad as if your puppy died.

In the book I felt like the waiters were different than the video because the mood, lighting, and some music made the waiters seem more inpatient.
